With the name lovingly referring to its voluptuous shape, the pieces in this series create an even more dramatic effect due to the enhanced interplay of light and shadow on its curvy surface.

Investigating curved shapes in this new series, I had to develop a new way of oxidising and colouring the brass and copper pieces. A new technical challenge!

I found the works also do really well in dim light situations, making them ideal for natural lighting. 

Hand-curved in the studio in Zaandam and created in various colourshades and hues.
